Partnership Club.
Moorside Rangers are an Official Partnership Club with Bolton
Wanderers F.C. Academy. The partnership was signed on the 31st January
2007 during the halftime interval of the Premier league match between Bolton
Wanderers F.C and Charlton Athletic.
For Moorside Rangers F.C. and your child it means things at this fantastic club
just got better. We are one of only a few select clubs to be in Partnership with
a Premier League club and we expect this to attract more players to our strongly
growing club.
Coaching at our club is already at a very high standard
but with this new partnership we know will be able to improve on that standard.
Because of our partnership our coaches will be allowed access to
Bolton Wanders F.C. Academy and Shadow Academy training sessions and training days
to observe and also take sessions.
Bolton Wanderers FC Academy
will also be arranging special training days for our coaches, as well
as the coaching education you would expect there will also be sports injury
courses run by Bolton Wanderers F.C. Academy physio therapists.
Exceptional players
from Moorside Rangers F.C. will have direct
access to the Bolton Wanderers F.C. Academy system as there is a direct
referral from our club to Academy/Shadow Academy. Any players released from
the Bolton Wanderers F.C. Academy system will be referred to partner clubs
so their progress can be monitored. Teams from our club
will also be available for games against Bolton Wanderers F.C. Academy and
Shadow Academy teams which will be a good test for our teams.
Our club will also
benefit from the expertise of other Bolton Wanderers F.C. Academy
departments, any players from our club
suffering long term injuries can be referred to academy physio
therapist for assessments
and given treatment plans to help their
rehabilitation.
There are many other
benefits to this partnership and hopefully we will start to see them
in the very near future.
