Saturday, March 7th, 2009The Blues in their first ever 11 a-side friendly game on a full size pitch were never really troubled and ran out comfortable winners.
New roles for some, the forming of new partnerships, the return of a past player as well as sterling performances from the regulars saw the Blues win comfortably.
Already up at half time the Blues dominated the entire second half with a series of well worked moves and a number of goals early on made the game secure very early into the second half. The Blues were even able to keep a clean sheet into the bargain.
A big well done to all who played in what was a thoroughly enjoyable game to watch and coach.
