Moorside shook off their poor performance in the mid week defeat against Deans with a good win at home to Standians. Moorside defence were much stronger & with Dean Dearden leading the line scoring a double brace followed up with goals from Pete Muscolino 2, Scott Davis & Anthony Robinson..

The game was played at a high tempo in treacherous conditions but Rangers defence was outstanding against a lightning quick attack thanks to Barnes, Davis, Hampson & Taylor goals from Kay, Dearden, Pantelides with the goal of the match coming from Goal Keeper Catley from a long clearance and to prove it was not a fluke he hit the bar a few minutes after scoring.
